We calculate your BMR—the calories your body burns at rest using the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, factoring in your height, weight, age, and gender.

Activity Multiplier

Your selected activity level is multiplied by your BMR to account for daily exercise and movement, giving your true daily calorie burn.

Goal Adjustment

For weight loss, we subtract 500 kcal (½ kg per week loss). For weight gain, we add 500 kcal for healthy muscle building.
